Growing up in a suburb of Boston, Meghan Cronin is a junior at Boston University with a thirst for knowledge; she is eager to discover new ways of viewing the world. Cronin is fascinated with the camera’s ability to capture unique moments in time. She is most interested in fashion photography, graphic design, filmmaking, and video editing.
Within the past few years, Cronin has received a Gold Key, Silver Key and three Honorable Mentions in Photography from the Boston Globe Scholastic Art and Writing awards sponsored by the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. In addition, her photographs have been exhibited at Lesley University, Education First, Bromfield Gallery, Peter Miller Fine Art Contemporary Photography Gallery, Griffin Museum of Photography, Lexington Arts & Crafts Society, and Lexington Center for the Arts. At Pier59 Studios, Cronin has photographed New York Fashion Week & the CFDA Summer Series event, filmed Behind the Scenes videos for Elle Mexico, The Industry Artist MGMT, and Tush Magazine, and has assisted on for Pier’s 59th 59 seconds episode. She has photographed for Lush Cosmetics in Harvard Square, Modern Luxury Boston Common magazine, Boston University Women’s Guilde and many more. She hopes to expand her portfolio and experience. Cronin looks forward to continuing her education in film, photography, and graphic design, as well as her career in creativity.
